Intro to Trad Climbing

This class will teach trad leading skills. We focus on gear placements, and anchors, as well as belay techniques. The class will help prepare students to get out on their own in areas like Joshua Tree, Yosemite, and many more of the States best climbing areas.

Learn gear placements and anchoring principles.

Learn various rappelling techniques, including grigri rappel, and rappel extensions with backups

We will also introduce basic skills of multi-pitch climbing.
