Bear Creek Spire
13,713' North Arete 5.8 or Northeast Ridge 5.5 | Two Day Climb
Bear Creek Spire offers two classic Sierra climbs with an unforgettable summit. Located in the Rock Creek Drainage just south of Mammoth.

The North Arete 5.8 offers a classic steeper alpine rock climb for those with more multi pitch experience.
The Northeast Ridge 5.5 offers a great introduction to alpine rock climbing. It is a long moderate ridge with sections of technical climbing.
Itinerary

Both routes are best done in a two day climb.
Day 1: Hike up to the amazing Dade Lake and camp for the night.
Day 2: Wake up early and climb Bear Creek Spire. Return to camp and hike out that afternoon.
