Crystal Crag

Crystal Crag is a great one day climb in the Lakes Basin of Mammoth. The North Arete is a classic 5.6 multi-pitch route with an amazing summit. The route includes climbing through some spectacular quartz crystal bands. This is great training for bigger Sierra routes. If you are looking for a fun climb in the Mammoth area with great views Crystal Crag is not to be missed. The climb is done at a ratio of one guide to two climbers at a maximum.
