Intro to Climbing Class
$200 per person full day with 3 people or more
 

Join us for an unforgettable experience of learning the art of climbing in one of the most beautiful places in the world – the Eastern Sierra. Our Introduction to Climbing class is great for families and beginners who want to learn the essential skills of climbing. The class covers all the basics of climbing gear and will also teach you the basic movement skills needed to climb all day long. Don't miss out on this unique adventure!

Classes are offered daily.  $200 per person with three or more people, $275 per person with two people.  Private days are available for $500

Classes included all the climbing gear you need for the day.  A full or half day of instruction and climbing from our AMGA trained or certified guides.  Learn rappelling, belaying, crack and face climbing movement skills and more.  Our class is the perfect activity for the family while vacationing in Mammoth Lakes, California.

Don't think you want a full day?

While most people find a 6-7 hour day of climbing perfect for learning the skills of belaying, climbing movement, knots, and getting a good amount of climbing in, we do offer a 3 hour half day class for $150 per person with three people. If there are two people the price is $225 per person.

Sierra Climbing School operates in partnership and under permit with the Inyo National Forests, the Bureau of Land Management, and other public land agencies as appropriate.
